Product Description
The Little Giant automatic utility/hydroponic pump moves 1,200 gallons per hour of water. It is built with a corrosion-resistant epoxy-coated aluminum body, specifically designed for submersible use. Designed with a bottom intake design with pre-screen to protect against debris. Automatic transfer pump that removes water to within 1/8 inch of surface in manual mode. The PIGGYBACK DIAPHRAGM SWITCH activates when the pressure on the switch increases. As the water level rises, the water pressure presses against the switch and compresses a diaphragm inside the switch. When the diaphragm is compressed the switch turns on, when the pressure eases off of the diaphragm the pump turns off. The Little Giant 5-ASP-LL will turn on when it reaches 6 to 9 inches and will turn off when the water drops to 1 to 4 inches.
